(Reuters) – A strong 8.0 magnitude earthquake struck Iran, near the border with Pakistan, at 10:44 GMT (11:44 a.m. Britis time) on Tuesday at a depth of 73 miles The U.S. Geological survey said.

Tremors were felt across the Gulf region and in New Delhi.
