From today, millions of patients are set to be hit with a GP Tax by stealth, as Tony Abbott’s four year freeze on Medicare rebates begins.
Analysis shows this will amount to around $8.43 for many people, for every visit to the doctor.
This is bad policy – bad for patients and doctors. You have joined with us to fight the Liberals’ attacks on Medicare because we know they have it wrong.
