The Generator News was heard each week on Mondays at 10:00am on BayFM 99.9FM from 2005 until 2009. It was transmitted to the Community Radio Network weekly and picked up by a number of regional stations to provide environmental news to their listeners
A number of national magazines republished news from The Generator and there are over 120 subscribers who receive the news as a weekly news feed direct to their web browser.
It has now been moved from its original Joomla platform to WordPress, so has lost some of the original, more radio specific content, and operates primarily as an archive for items referred to in facebook and twitter feeds by independent media professionals.
A very limited archive of Podcasts, interviews and a sample news broadcast have made it across the format shift.
