Grants of up to $250,000 available under NSW Climate Action Grants Program

Technology Action Grants:
Two key objectives of Technology Action Grants are to:

o Progress advances in greenhouse abatement technologies or
technologies that assist adaptation to climate change impacts in NSW;
and

o Support the development of products, processes, practices and
programs which minimise greenhouse gas emissions or assist adaptation
to climate change impacts in the waste, transport, forestry,
agriculture, industry processes or land use sectors.

Community Action Grants:

Two key objectives of Community Action Grants are to:

o Increase the capacity of industry, business, local government or the
community to reduce greenhouse emissions and adapt to the impacts of
climate change in NSW; and

o Promote widespread adoption of new products, processes, practices and
programs which minimise greenhouse gas emissions or assist adaptation
to the impacts of climate change in the waste, transport, forestry,
agriculture, industry processes or land use sectors. This can include
education and awareness raising adaptation planning and implementation
of tools.
