Look out Labour: public backlash over Snowy sale


Greedy: Jeff Robinson of Blakehurst wrote: "Never before have we been so wealthy nor so greedy. Not only are we borrowing against the future to pay for present consumption but also we are selling off the assets we inherited."

"Final straw": Another correspondent, Don Burns of Robertson, asked what right had politicians to sell off or privatise public utilities or anything else that they think is fair game? "The pending sale of the Snowy should be the final straw."
